The Di Sole - 'Sunny' was made with balsa sticks, Esaki tissue, and a little carbon fiber. This plane has a MINOR receiver, two MCA2 actuators, a MCF3222 prop, and a MBC3 ESC all from MicroInvent. The brushless motor is a Gasparin G10 Micro. 60 and 50 mAh LiPo cells are used for this plane. The Di Sole plane has more than enough power and could be used with the smaller Gasparin Nano, or Pico BL motors, or a standard brushed motor. But it is fun to go vertical with the G10 Micro motor. |
The Di Sole has a wingspan of 11 in, and weighs 13.4 grams with the 60 mAh LiPo cell. |
